Hi there,

For today's exercise, I have used the Word Jumble application for TaskMagic.

The work we have to do today is to put the words in the correct order.  Here you have a picture of the exercise. All the students have to do is to order the words in each sentence and then press the button check to see whether they are right or wrong.

  1. Hey there!!

I think this exercise is very useful to practice grammar, they can learn how to create a sentence in the correct order. Generally they find it difficult to order the words in a question, so we could create exercises like this to improve this difficulty. Of course they are practicing reading too. At this stage they are just ordering words, but these kinds of exercises help them to understand the structure of a sentence, and in the future they will be able to write using the words in the correct order. So I think your activity will help them with grammar, reading and future writing! And, of course, they learn new words and improve their vocabulary… Great idea!

    See you!

  2. As Raquel I think it's an interesting way to practise Grammar. In my opinion, Pupils of this age should study English Grammar in a communicative approach avoiding to many terminology and your activity is an example of it! I have never used TaskMagic but I think I'll do it shortly!
